“You should have torn apart by now; how you are bearing my energy attacks” I asked with deep confusion.

It had launched hundreds of energy-filled attacks if it had been any other High-Grandmaster; even if they had not blasted into thousands of pieces, they would have been seriously injured, but I am completely fine, without the slightest injury.

“Just like you are bearing mine,” I replied.

I am also attacking the bastard with powerful attacks of inheritance energy, but it seemed fine.

Those with bloodlines really have too many advantages against those with an Inheritance.

My move of treating the energy did not work on most bloodlines, and they have much better energy defenses than the

A frown appeared on its face hearing my reply, but it still continued with its attacks, and I continued defending against them with a smile on my face.

A few more minutes passed, and it was still continuing with attacks; wanting to take me to my limit by constantly bombarding me with energy, but the poor bastard did not know that I was digesting energy as it came, so there was no question of crushing my defenses with the constant bombardment.

‘I think it is time, I said, and for the first time in more than ten minutes, I had moved on the offensive.

I have gathered enough data for my clone to make a model of it, which will now help me against its offensive.

As I appeared in front of it, I burst out of all my strength and attacked with its head as my target, but the bastard was quick; despite its surprise, it reacted immediately and defended against my attack.

“Your offense is futile, human; I am stronger than you,” it said, and for the first time, I saw the spark of anger in its eyes.

“We will see about that,” I said and attacked as it harnessed the last bit of its power.

It is right about being stronger than me, but that is not rare; most of my enemies had been stronger than me, but I was still able to kill them.

I have developed my inheritance in such a way that I could fight against the stronger enemies, and I have fought and killed the enemies who had a gap much bigger than what it and I have, especially those who relied on its energy attacks.

It defended against my second attack, so I launched the third, and when it had defended that, I launched the fifth and then the sixth and seventh; I continued to attack without stopping it even for a moment.

“If this is all you have, then you could forget about injuring me,” it said, and this time, I did not dignify it with my words; I continued with my attacks without a moment of break.

A minute passed, and then another, and I launched hundreds of attacks, but not a single one was able to strike; despite that, there was not a hint of disappointment on my face because, according to me, everything was working as it should be.

The bastard is skilled as well as powerful, and that made me take a long road to kill it.

Puch!

It was the sixth minute of my offensive when my spear slipped and struck it to the great shock of the Grimms, but an experienced fighter reacted immediately, and I had to withdraw my spear before it could pierce it at a threatening level.

Which is fine; I have got what I have wanted from it.

“I will kill you!” It shouted as finally, the flame of anger that is common among the Grimm lit up in its eyes.

It attacked me, which I had defended, and before attacking it, it countered it, and I launched another attack.

The bastard has finally got angry, but it is still not letting that anger go over its head.

It still has a rational mind and defends and attacks me without losing even an ounce of sanity to the anger.

‘It is really good; I hope the other Grimms I will meet in this test would at least be able to give me this level of challenge.

Puch!

We continued fighting, and it was another four more minutes before I was able to land another attack; this had gone a little deeper than before but still at a non-threatening level.

This time, it was not its sword that forced me to pull back, but the strange method attached to its armor, which, despite piercing, was rapidly sucking off my momentum.

If I had continued further, that sword of it would have hacked me into two.

“You are good, but you should stop thinking that you could kill me with these little moves of yours,” it said.

To that, a big bright smile appeared on my face.

“Oh, I do not have to think that.

You are dead already,” I said with a smile and attacked it as if taking advantage of surprise to goal a strike.

“Little tricks,” it said and defended my attack.

Half a minute passed as I continued attacking it when a sudden change occurred in the battle; it shook before stumbling on the ground.

“What did you do to me” It asked heavily while gripping its heart hard, “I poisoned you,” I replied, which is a sort of lie; it is not a poison but an incapacitation of its bloodline.

Dealing with bloodlines is quite troublesome, especially with powerful bloodlines with core; they could deal with almost anything, but they could still be dealt with.

In the first attack, I have collected the blood and mixed it with little something in my core before depositing it back in the second attack.

It spread into the body, blocked the connection to its core, and made it incapacitated, a sort of like I did with the Grimm earlier.

Thud!

“Impossible!” it shouted back and tried to get up but was not able to move more than an inch before falling down on the ground.

“Not impossible,” I said as I walked toward it with a spear in hand, and for the first time, I could see the genuine fear in its eyes.

“You bastard jraef; how long are you planning to hide” shouted the Foxman as I reached its huge head.

“Bastard, couldnt you stay quiet I was able to hack this human in two,” said as the Grimm as it appeared beside me silently without the slightest fluctuation.

“Jraef, you have been hiding for quite a while,” I said as I looked at Gemmed Eyed Antman, who was last seen a century ago.

“I never hid; you humans just never saw me,” it replied.

“You assassins are really hard to keep track of,” I said with a sigh.

“Human, you are quite good, but I hope you will release my bastard friend from your poison,” It said, and its aura flared, which is no weaker than a Foxman on the ground.

“I would have listened, but you are a dead man, and I dont listen to the dead man,” I said as I shook its head.

A surprise appeared on its face, and it looked around its body for any injury, but it did not find any; it turned with rage burning in its eyes.

“You bas” it cursed loudly and tried to attack me when a sudden horror flashed in its eyes as it found out it could not move at all.
